Many
classroom teachers, activity directors, and others working in professions
where disabilities are encountered have taken the workshop training
to incorporate the AIM Method into their curriculum. The AIM Method
is highly recommended as a total movement program or in addition
to other programs.

| AIM
workshops are conducted by our experienced AIM staff and have been
presented with great success to schools, colleges, universities,
and organizations throughout the country. The cornerstone of AIM
for the Handicapped, Adventures in Movement by Dr. Jo A.
Geiger (biography),
National Executive Director of AIM for the Handicapped, Inc., forms
the basis for the workshops and is covered extensively. |

| Each
workshop focuses on adapting the AIM Method to the individual needs
of the sponsoring group as the workshop is taught. Active participation
of the class is necessary to determine the specific method of teaching,
developing creative ideas, and complete specialty work for the various
disabilities. |

Workshop
participants are eligible for AIM Teacher Certification. AIM teacher
training is widely respected at many institutions of higher education.
The University of Dayton, located in Dayton,Ohio, requires completion
of the AIM Teacher Training as a requirement for a Music Therapy
Degree. Many other colleges and universities often send practicum
students to AIM's National Headquarters as a part of their education. |
